There are two ways that Gear can be powered: 1 - Solar Panel Gear’s internal battery is continuously recharged via a slim solar panel that fits discreetly on your window. Inside the solar panel are 12 AA batteries that act as backup power. 2 - Wall Plug Gear ships with a standard US wall plug with a 10 foot cable. Will we need software? No. Gear can be operated and set up all from the on-device controls. However, the complementary AXIS app can be used for advanced features such as mobile control, scheduling, device management and more. Does Gear require a remote? No. Gear can be operated via it’s on-device controls or via the complementary AXIS app. How long does it take for orders to arrive? Orders typically arrive within 5 - 7 business days. However, expedited shipping options are available to facilitate your project’s needs. Is there a discount for bulk purchases?
